Modern Maps of the L&B Route (2001)

Links to Aerial 'Multimap' Photo-maps of L&B Locations

Coutesy of these links to http://www.multimap.co.uk, we can now roam and zoom across aerial photograps, overlaid with modern OS maps, of the former (and future) route of the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway. The photographs are taken from the largest aerial survey ever undertaken in Great Britain. These images have been compiled into one vast record of the country called the Millennium Map™. These links take you direct to key points on the route, but you can scroll around to find the remains of the rest of the route, in scales from 1:5000 to 1:200000!
